Holly, Jolly Christmas!

2016 is in full swing and just like 2015... I'm a bit behind... I don't imagine that will get any better this year. I wanted to share a few pictures from our little holiday!

Christmas Card 2015
Parker was the only one cooperating... Theo was being a super goof and I couldn't stop laughing at him!

Our early morning routine was the same as usual on Christmas day. Some milk and breakfast while watching an episode of Sesame Street. (The robe and slippers were a Christmas special)

Theo awaiting my family so he could open his presents!

Some winter cookies for Parks, Theo and I from The Painted Pastry. Not only are they adorable, but they taste DELICIOUS!

Theo received many new books that he wanted to read with his dad or Grammy RIGHT AWAY!

Here is Theo with his Curious George in a box from his Cha Cha!

Theo was loving his new ball ramp from his Papa!

This was our first year hosting Christmas - which I loved being able to do! It was nice having Theo wake up in his own environment, seeing the tree with all the presents and enjoying that special little time before my family came over. As the kids get older we will have our own opening presents time before the grandparents, aunts and uncles come over... but this year all the presents under the tree were from them so they came over early to see Theo's excitement!

After Theo opened all his presents, the adults all opened ours and we got to cooking breakfast!
French toast, sausage and egg casserole, pierogis, latkes, fruit and coffee were on the menu.

Then we all relaxed before my extended family came over for the afternoon!
I meant to take all sorts of  pictures of our Christmas dinner, but time got away from me.
Everyone in the fam helped prepare dishes and it was quite the feast.

This was later in the day sitting in Parker's Christmas present - his own, special "man of the house" chair from Crate and Barrel.

And fast forward a week (because we spent those days relaxing, enjoying our new presents, and cuddling), this was how we spent New Year's Eve! Parks cooked us dinner and Theo and I cuddled on the couch! It was the perfect way to bring in the new year. Just me and my boys!

I officially am in third trimester and after I spent alllllllll that time decorating Theo's nursery {you can see that HERE}, Parker and I have decided to have Theo and Calvin share the bigger room and move the guest room into his nursery.

Lots to do before little Calvin's arrival!

Happy new year!
