Theo's Baby Shower!

The weekend came and went quickly and it was beautiful!
We had a brunch in my mom's backyard with my favorite food and my favorite people.

I turned 30 weeks the day of the shower, so there is no weekly picture but you can see the bump progress in most of the pictures below.

I am the worst at making sure I take pictures of events, but here are a few I borrowed from my sister and sister-in-law:

My aunt and cousin made this *ah-mazing* diaper cake!

I received SO many thoughtful gifts and cards from my family and friends. I cannot wait for Theo to get here and meet all these special people who love and care for him already!

After the brunch, we went out to dinner with this little lady who also happened to turn 21!!!

Theo was kicking and punching and rolling around like crazy the whole dinner. He must've been so happy for aunt Tina ;)

Week 29 & Way Too Many Tears

Why is it that summer weeks FLY by?!?

I don't think I have stopped moving in the past 3 weeks, but I am nesting like a lunatic and feel the need to have everything in the world as ready as possible for Theo. Does this make me crazy?! I feel crazy every day.

I also cry every day.

Without fail.

and most of the time... without any reason.

Although, today was because Parker ate my Rosemary and Olive Oil Triscuits. I bought them the other day when I had a reallllyyyy bad craving for them. I also got some delicious cheese to go with it. I did buy Parker his chips and Cheezits and granola bars which are all his and I don't eat even have a nibble!

After a long day of shopping and preparing for my baby shower, I was starving. My mouth was watering just imagining the triscuits and cheese. Nomnomnom.

And then I came home. I went right downstairs to grab them and what do I see?! They are GONE! Not even a crumb was left. First, I was angry. Next, I decided to try some other crackers. Then, as I was eating them in front of Parker and my sister, I just started crying.

Like a lunatic. Sobbing about how unfair it was and why oh whyyyyyyy did I have to eat "these NASTY crackers" when my good crackers were all gone?! WHY!!?!??

Whenever these episodes happen, I know I seem like a 5 year old. I just, quite literally, cannot help myself.

Parker felt horrible and was going to run to the store to go get more which made me realize even more how ridiculous my emotional outburst was. Alas, tomorrow I will likely cry again. About something just as silly.

Week 29 is almost over now, but here is my belly pic and updates:

We also set up Theo's bassinet in our bedroom and it is just so darn adorable!
I can't wait until he is sleeping inside it!!!

Weeks 27 & 28

Well, well, well.

These last 2 weeks have just flown by with lots of ups and downs!

The basement renovation is well under-way and I cannot wait to share it with you. The carpeting is coming in on Thursday and then we will be officially moving in this weekend. EEEEEK!

All that is an up.

Now for a down...

July 4th weekend we had a big storm here in Mass and a gosh-darn tree fell on my car overnight :(
The windshield is shattered and there are dents in the roof of the car that prevent a new windshield from easily going back in. The insurance adjuster should be coming tomorrow or Tuesday to see how much it will be.... 10 days later....

Now for an up!

My cousin and his girlfriend got married last night and the whole fam had a BLAST! There was also a photo booth so, naturally, we took full advantage.
 Moran ladies in the booth!

Me, Theo, and Parkster at the wedding!

Aunt Shirley dancing outside the window.

Dad and Tina just chillin'

 BROTHAHS!

 Couples!

Lovebirds.

So much fun and many congrats to Katy and Danny!! It was SO beautiful!

Unfortunately... it is time for a down...

The one and only car we have left broke down today on the highway. ARGH!! Thankfully, we were very close to an exit and were able to find some garage right off the highway. We left our car there overnight with the keys and a note and hopefully we will get a call in the morning. Hopefully it is not something horrible. FINGERS CROSSED!
This is me laughing at our wonderful luck lately as we waited for my dad to come pick us up. Thanks, Dad!

It seems that with this pattern we are in for an UP soon!!!

Here are the past 2 weeks baby bumps and a welcome to 3rd trimester!!! YIKES!

Until next week, folks!

26 Weeks & Our Vacation Recap in Pictures!

No baby bump pic this week because I was on vacation, but I have plenty of pics to help document the 26 week baby bump.

Parks and I spent 6 days in Naples, Florida with my brother and his girlfriend and it was WONDERFUL! We were jam-packed with swimming and tanning and adventures. Even though it was a bit tiring, it was exactly what I needed for a babymoon.

Here are some pictures:
I mayyyyyy have splurged and bought this floral Kate Spade diaper bag. It was too pretty not to buy :) Parker wasn't too thrilled about the hefty purchase, so I showed him that I could use it for other things too! Carry on bag!

Brothers waiting at the airport before we go!

The beach! The water was so warrrrmmmmm and niiiceeee. I was on "fin duty" since I don't go to the beach that often and I was scared to death there would be a shark. As I was watching like a hawk... I saw a FIN! A real fin... I wasn't even sure I believed my own eyes, so I didn't blink for about 2 minutes before I saw it again! A FIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! I yelled to Parks and John who were still in the water as tears were coming out of my eyes and my feet were stomping the ground from my beach chair.

It was then, that Kathleen informed it was a dolphin fin.... tee hee hee... I forgot that there are also dolphins in Florida. I was seriously freaking out.

^Before the fin scare...^

That night we went out to Capital Grille for Kathleen's birthday:
Me and the birthday girl!

The next day we went to the Big Cat Sanctuary in Sarasota and saw some BIG animals!

This massive creature was a REAL, 3 year-old, 1100lb, liger!

The woman snapping this pic tried many times to take the picture while the bear was there facing us... this is what we ended up with! Oh well!

The next day was our BIG day! We woke up at 5am and drove 3.5 hours to Universal Studios for the day! Kathleen and Parker are Harry Potter enthusiasts and they were so excited to see Hogsmeade!

^^ I was exhausted at the end of this day with all the heat and walking around... so the hubs offered to carry my bag for me... I think he totally owns it ;)

Other than spending lots of time swimming in the pool, we also went on a cruise around Port Royal down in Naples and saw all the mansions. They were quite impressive and allowed us to dream for a little bit. One day... one day..
Loving the boat life.

So there were have it. Week 26! I will be back this weekend with a regular 27 week bump photo. For now, this pregnant lady has hours of DVR to catch up on. YAHOO!

Happy 4th of July!
