Monster Munch & Pumpkin Fluff

Sundays are my favorite.

Lazy mornings, big ole breakfasts, and some football to holler at all day. It is also a time to relax and recharge for the week to come.

We kept ourselves busy this past weekend with lots of fun with family and friends. Friday night, Parker and I spent the night at my parents house and had lots of laughs while playing card games. Last night, we went over my best friends house for a pumpkin carving party.

The results:
Mine is the little kitty and Parker's is that scary creature in the top right.

She also revealed that she is PREGGERS!!!!! We are so excited for her and her husband and can't wait to meet their little baby this May :)

We had brought over a few munchies I thought I'd share on the blog!

The first snack I made for the party is called, Monster Munch, which I originally saw on A Pumpkin and a Princess' blog. You can click {here} for her original recipe.
I decided to make a few changes to please my palette and this is what I ended up with:
So simple to make!

All you need is:
Reese's Pieces
Peanut M&Ms - I picked out all the red, orange, yellow and brown ones from the package... which means Parks and I got to eat all the blue and green ones :)
Chopped Pecans
Candy Corn
Candy Eyeballs (we got a small pack at Target)
Some melted chocolate to drizzle on top!

Let the chocolate dry for about 20 minutes, throw in a bowl and chow down!

The other dish we made was Pumpkin Fluff that I saw last week on Cara Carroll's blog, Pearls, Handcuffs and Happy Hour and I had to try it!

It is definitely for those with a sweet tooth, but I followed the recipe straight from Cara's blog and it was delicious:

Wishing you a peaceful Sunday :)
